I. RECIPES

1. Pepper Rasam Powder Recipes

A. Strong Rasam (Serves: 3-4)
1. Soak lemon size tamarind in hot water.
2. In a bowl, take 1 tablespoon of rasam powder, squeeze 1 tomato, crush 3-4 garlic cloves, add tamarind water (to taste), add salt (to taste).
3. Add finely chopped coriander leaves & curry leaves (optional).
4. Add 750 ml of water. Stir it well and keep until boiling.
5. Heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil, add mustard seeds. Add this tadka to rasam for better taste.

B. Dal Rasam (Serves: 3-4)
1. Soak lemon size tamarind in hot water.
2. Cook 25gms of Toor dal.
3. In a bowl, take 1/2 tablespoon of rasam powder, squeeze 1 tomato, crush 3-4 garlic cloves, add sliced 2-3 green chillies, add tamarind water (to taste), add 750ml of water and add salt (to taste).
4. Add finely chopped coriander leaves & curry leaves. Stir it well and keep until boiling.
5. In a separate pan, heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil, add mustard seeds. Add this tadka to sambar for better taste.

C. Rasam Vada/Bonda (Try our new snack recipe)
1. Prepare Vada/Bonda of your choice and follow instructions of our Strong Rasam recipe.
2. Dip vada/bonda in hot rasam for 2-3 minutes and enjoy a healthy hot snack with friends and relatives.

2. Curry Leaves Powder Recipes

A. Idly/Dosa/Chapathi/Roti Podi
1. Take 3-4 teaspoons of curry leaves powder & serve with hot idly/dosa or chapati or roti.
2. Take 3-4 teaspoons of curry leaves powder and mix with 1 tablespoon of desi ghee or oil & serve with hot idly/dosa or chapati or roti.

B. Raitha
Take 3-4 teaspoon of curry leaves powder and mix with curd & serve with hot pulav, biriyani or any variety rice.

C. Curry Leaves Rice
1. Heat 2 tablespoon oil/ghee in a pan & add 4 teaspoons of curry leaves powder. Add salt to taste.
2. Saute for 30 seconds on a low flame and add 3 cups of cooked rice. Mix well.
(Tasty Tip: sprinkle curry leaves powder on any sabji or any soup to get healthy flavour)

3. Sambar Powder Recipes

A. Vegetable Sambar (Serves: 2-3 )
1. Soak lemon size tamarind in hot water.
2. Cook 50gms of Toor dal (don’t strain water).
3. Boil vegetables of your choice separately (don’t strain water).
4. In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry finely chopped 1 tomato, 1 onion, and 2 green chillies. Then add boiled vegetables, cooked toor dal, add 3 tablespoons of sambar powder, 100ml water, and salt to taste. Stir it well and keep until boiling.
5. In a separate pan, heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil, add mustard seeds. Add this tadka to the sambar for better taste.

B. Plain Sambar (Serves: 2-3)
1. Heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil in a pressure cooker. Fry finely chopped 1 tomato, 1 onion, and 2 green chillies.
2. Add 50gms of Toor dal/Moong dal.
3. Add 2 tablespoon of sambar powder, 200ml of water, and add salt to taste. Stir it well and cook for 2-3 whistles.
4. In a separate pan, heat 1/2 tablespoon of oil, add mustard seeds. Add this tadka to the sambar for better taste.

4. Idly Podi Recipes

A. Idly/Dosa Podi
1. Take 3-4 teaspoon of idly podi & serve with hot idly/dosa or chapathi or roti.
2. Take 3-4 teaspoon of idly podi and mix with 2 tablespoon of desi ghee or oil & serve with hot idly/dosa.

B. Podi Idly/Dosa (Serves: 2-3)
Prepare 7-8 idly/dosa. Apply ghee/oil on top of idly or dosa and sprinkle idly podi on idly/dosa. Serve hot.

C. Fried idly or Idly Podi-Mass (Serves: 2-3)
1. Prepare 7-8 idlies & cut into smaller pieces (1 idly to 5 pieces approximately).
2. Heat 3 tablespoon of oil/ghee in pan, add 3 tablespoon of idly podi. Saute for 2 minutes on a low flame. Add cut idly and mix well. Serve hot.

D. Oil Podi
Heat 4 teaspoon of oil/ghee in pan and mix 2 teaspoon of idly podi. Serve with hot idly or dosa.

5. Dal Garlic Recipe

A. Dal Garlic Rice (Serves: 2-3)
1. Heat 2 tablespoon oil/ghee in a pan & add 4 teaspoons of dal garlic powder. Add salt to taste.
2. Saute for 30 seconds on a low flame and add 3 cups of cooked rice. Mix well and serve hot.
